Tautorn Studios presents
Peoples, realms, ages and gods in pixel art.
You are the god of an entire world. Shape continents, release the first peoples and watch: they hunt, farm, found villages, raise kingdoms, forge alliances, betray, wage war and live through thousands of years of history, from the Neolithic to the age of discovery. Every world tells a story that never repeats.
Free in the browser · works on phones · PC version (Steam) in the works
The god games that stick with you are the ones that tell stories on their own: a small realm that becomes an empire, an alliance that ends in betrayal, a hero who slays a dragon and becomes a legend. Realmsmith was born from the wish to combine the freedom of games like WorldBox with the depth of simulations like RimWorld and Dwarf Fortress, in a pixel art world you can open in any browser.
Nobody follows a script here. Every person has hunger, age, family and a trade; every village has food, wood, stone and iron; every realm has a ruler, a faith, a culture, rivals and friends. History emerges from all of it, and you decide when to just watch and when to reach out with a divine hand.

Everything that happens in the world is truly simulated, person by person.
Generated continents with relief, rivers, lakes, biomes, climate, rain, droughts and seasons. Paint terrain, raise mountains and draw rivers.
Humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes, orcs, goblins, vampires, beastfolk and lizardfolk, each with their own way of life, culture and names. Create your own in the editor.
From the Neolithic to the Age of Discovery, through Bronze, Iron, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Dozens of discoveries change clothes, weapons, houses and armies.
Realms rise, conquer, demand tribute, take vassals and become empires. Sieges, war machines, fleets and campaigns decide who grows and who falls.
Named leagues, coalitions against the strongest, treaties, royal weddings and betrayals. The Free Peoples and the Shadow Hordes share old friendships and older hatreds.
Villages specialize in food, wood, stone, iron or trade. Markets, prices, taxes and caravan and ship routes between cities.
Peoples pray for rain, healing or protection. Answer with miracles, or punish with lightning, earthquakes, meteors, plagues and volcanoes.
Dragons, trolls, undead, werewolves, giants, griffins, hydras, liches and ents. Some appear on their own; others you release wherever you like.
Heroes earn titles, go on quests and find artifacts. It all goes into the world chronicle, year by year, with statistics and a timeline.
With the game minimized or in another tab, history keeps going. When you return, a summary shows how many years passed, who rose and who fell.
Every world has its own link and saves itself. Export, import and pick up where you left off.
